Here's a miracle story, from the Volunteer Ministers in Indonesia.
Here's a photo of a man whose arm was so severely broken, doctors had very little hope of saving it and his own life was at risk. The man in the yellow shirt is a volunteer minister giving him an "Assist" to help him recover from the injury.
Here's the same man again, 45 minutes later. It was the first time he smiled since he was hit by the tsunami.
Our volunteer ministers are training family members, nursing staff and anyone else who wants to help. Assists are very easy to learn. There is even a chapter in the Scientology Handbook (which is online) that trains a person on how to give assists.
If you want to help us, e-mail vm@volunteerminister.org and let them know there whether you want to join our team in India, Thailand, Sri Lanka or Indonesia, or donate money to send more volunteers over and support the volunteers who are here.
