David Miscavige - Chairman of the Board of Religious Technology Center
Scientology applied religious philosophy is unique among any other religion on earth today. Developed by L. Ron Hubbard, it is a technology that enables the individual to reach higher states of beingness and awareness.
If one were building a bridge, it would be wise to apply the laws of engineering and physics exactly. If you decided to alter the procedures, cut corners, be inventive to the detriment of these natural laws, your bridge simply would never be completed, or it would be highly dangerous as it would likely collapse.
In order to guarantee that Scientology applied religious philosophy would continue working, L. Ron Hubbard established the Religious Technology Center. As it says on the RTC web site:

As the Chairman of the board of RTC Mr. Miscavige has taken the leadership role for the past 20 years in ensuring that Scientology and Dianetics technologies remain pure and in good hands.
Recently Mr. Miscavige spoke at the grand openings of the new Church of Scientology of Spain in Madrid and the Church of Scientology of New York.
