Two-Day Hands-On Workshop for European Institutions and Embassies Tackles 1 Billion Illiteracy Problem Worldwide
This is a description of the seminar held at the Church of Scientology International European Public Affairs and Human Rights Office in Brussels.
I think it is very significant that the Church is concentrating on illiteracy, as this underlies so many of our social ills. If people can study and learn, and apply what they learn, they have the tools they need to improve their lives, and reversely, an illiterate population can be controlled and corralled and its liberties and rights can be curtailed, without their even noticing it.
